A new Key Theme on Exhaustion of domestic legal remedies/compliance with the four-month rule (premature expressions of guilt) is now available (Article 6 Criminal).
It focuses on the question of which domestic legal remedies can be considered effective in respect of premature expressions of a defendant’s guilt by public officials, including judges examining the applicant’s case.
